Dr. Kristina O’Shaughnessy is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than 17 years of experience in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She founded Kalla Aesthetics & Wellness to give her surgical patients — and the broader community — a trusted place to pursue whole-health care that is grounded in surgical expertise.
Dr. O’Shaughnessy completed her training at Northwestern University and is affiliated with Grassland Surgery Center and Grassland Plastic Surgery Specialists. She brings a methodical, patient-first approach to everything Kalla offers — from the treatments selected to the providers she has chosen to build her team around.

I’m a Nashville native and a proud mother of four daughters. I’ve been a dedicated nurse with more than 17 years of experience in healthcare. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
My professional journey eventually led me to discover a passion for aesthetic medicine, where I am able to blend my clinical expertise with an artistic approach to help individuals feel confident, refreshed, and empowered in their own skin. I am driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, continually advancing my skills to provide safe, personalized treatments that enhance both appearance and well-being.
Above all, I strive to make a positive impact by helping others feel seen, cared for, and confident.
Heather Hilton-Guzman, MSN, FNP-C

Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Heather is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over nine years of experience in oncology and hematology. Her clinical background caring for complex cancer patients shaped her deep appreciation for evidence-based medicine, metabolic health, and whole-person care.
At Kalla, Heather leads the Functional Medicine program, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of fatigue, hormone imbalance, metabolic dysfunction, gut health concerns, and inflammatory conditions. She combines conventional medical training with advanced functional medicine principles to create personalized treatment plans designed to restore balance and optimize long-term wellness.
Heather is trained in functional medicine, a certified peptide therapy provider, and an active member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She is passionate about helping patients move beyond symptom management and toward sustainable healing, vitality, and resilience.
Her approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and data-driven — empowering patients to take ownership of their health while feeling supported every step of the way.
